A vintage Turkish Anatolian throw rug. From the Bergama area in northwest Turkey, a coral red field displays a vigorous plant with straight stems angling upwards and ending in rosettes or jewelry pendants. The ivory border of four-part rosettes is a diagnostic Bergama feature. The foundation is all wool.
