A vellum land grant dated 1584 during the reign of James VI of Scotland being the conveyance of property in Culross, possibly a Salt Pan. The grant is by Alexander Colville, Commendator of Culross Abbey and signed by him. Partial large Red Wax Pendant seal of the Abbey with impression. Measures 12 x 6.5". Very Good.
