  • Description: Vintage Tall Ship Scrimshaw Cufflinks and Tie Tacks, Scrimshaw Workshop, LTD. This has 7/8" square tall ship and water scrimshaw cufflinks that look rectangular beause of the tall ship but do mesure 7/8" in all directions. They come with a heart and oval tie tack with a very similar design of a tall ship on each pin - with clutch and chain bar. The heart and oval are appx. 1/3". The cufflinks nad oval pin are silver tone and the heart is gold tone. Age is estimated at 1960's or slightly earlier. They come with a paper insert from the original purchase - Scrimshaw Jewelry with Scrimshaw Workshop, LTD of New Bedford, Mass. The insert describes the history of scrimshaw briefly. Not sure of what the scrimshaw material is. It is a tan color with markings through it. Very good condition. (W93018/1X1 SS9430 J LD 1/20/23) ET4/4/24
