  • Description:10kt Antique Seed Pearl Ring, Sz. 7, 1800's-1910. . This gold has been acid and tested with an analyzer. It is possibly 12kt but for the sake certainty, this is 10kt, yellow gold. It tests strongly as 10kt and weaker at 12kt, which I find occurs in the older pieces when it is 12kt. It is not filled or plated but solid gold. It has a pointed seed pearl top with 8 pearls on the outside and a single at the center, all prong set. The pearls are appx. 2mm-2.5mm. They are held with five prong. This sits up slightly on the finger with a lower o rnate setting around the diamond shaped pearl setting. The sides are are somewhat like a fleur-de-lis patter with three upright accents - with the outer ones have a curl and the a v shaped textured design below. The band, the rest of the way around the finger is slightly rounded and appx. 2.2mm wide. The topper to this ring is appx. 11.5mm down the finger and 7.5mm across the finger and the upper fancy shank is appx. 7mm wide before transitioning into the smooth band. Weight of this is appx. 2.58 grams. Some expected vintange wear and being in very good condition. It is not marked or signed. (RJ61224.19X2 SS17857 J LD 6/15/26).
