Here, the projected Canadian Pacific Rail Road line reaches only to Henry House (in British Columbia). Locates 16 forts as well as Indian agencies, towns and rivers. When it is considered how vast was the district to be examined, 2,000,000 square miles, how numerous were the records of the movements of locusts during the year that were collected, and what a range of subjects the report includes, it seems astonishing that so much should have been accomplished in so short a time. Besides detail of early forts and settlements in Montana, also shows 7 forts, Jaspar, Henry and Rocky Mt.
