  • Description:This is a fantastic double-page map of today's Netherlands and Belgium to northern France. The map is filled with details of the cities and villages, topography, rivers and lakes. Opposite corners are adorned with cartouches; at top left the title cartouche is comprised of mythical figures and at bottom right the distance scales is topped with the crests of the provinces. Elwe based his map of the Low Countries on Jaillot's earlier map of the same title. From Elwe's monumental 'Atlas'.
