Lockplate stamped "U.S. / Springfield" forward of hammer, "1860" rear of hammer, & eagle stamp on door of Maynard tape primer. Iron buttplate w/ usual "US" surcharge, iron tool box. CONDITION: very good overall, complete & original, good markings in metal, stock is sound, no cartouches, large chip missing left rear of breech, barrel shows tool marks & cleaning at breech.
