In the late 19th/early 20th centuries, tin baskets were popular gifts for a couple's 10th wedding Anniversary. They come in various shapes and sizes. This example has a handle and measures 5" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" high (5" to the top of the handle). It has a dark, worn patina and is in excellent condition with no breaks, holes, etx. It is tight and the handle is firmly in place. These don't come along very often.
