He achieves these highly unusual, fluid, and vibrant gemstone-like colors by applying specific acids and heat mixtures directly to the cast metal rather than using standard paint.
    The belly of the gecko is incised into the casting with "Barry Stein ? 2011". It has distinctive padded toes.
