This Antique Salt Glazed Blue & White Stoneware Rolling Pin early Nineteen Hundreds is in very good condition. It does have 2 chips and a slight crack but is structurally intact. The wood handles are not original. This is a fabulous find from great grandma's farmhouse kitchen! This amazing old stoneware rolling pin measures 7 7/8" long not counting the handles, and approximately 14 1/2" long including the handles- 3" in diameter. This rolling pin is in great condition for it's age, dating from at least the early 1900's (115+ years). There is one small crack, two small chips. There are a few very minor "character flaws" done during manufacture, which are not considered to be damage, but common for stoneware of this vintage....nothing to be concerned about. This piece is absolutely gorgeous and has a beautiful "wildflower" cobalt decoration. The handles are a great size for handling and rolling.
