  • Additional Information: An attractive Mid-Century Modern freeform serving bowl produced by Limoges Rose China of Sebring, Ohio, featuring an elegant asymmetrical organic form decorated with flowing gray brushstroke lines accented by fine black and red stripes beneath a clear glaze.

    The underside bears the original National Brotherhood of Operative Potters union mark together with the Limoges Rose China backstamp and "Hand Painted Under Glaze" designation.

    Its sculptural silhouette and restrained modernist decoration make it equally suitable as a serving piece or decorative centerpiece. The design reflects the clean Scandinavian-inspired styling popular during the late 1950s and early 1960s.
