1940's This BEAUTIFUL cotton 40's "whirling hexagon" quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with all solid colors, and an unusual pinwheel design.
It measures 78" X 82" and is in excellent, never washed condition, with the occasional age spot and no wear.
There is hand quilting around the piecework and in pinwheel designs in the background, all at 6-7 stitches to the inch, with faint pencil marks still visible in places.
The back and hand stitched binding are white, and the batting is thin.
