William Radam's Microbe Killer was heavily marketed during the 1880s and 1890s as a cure-all remedy, claiming to eliminate disease-causing microbes long before modern medical standards and regulations. Original stoneware jugs bearing the company's branding have become increasingly sought after by collectors of patent medicine memorabilia, medical antiques, pharmacy advertising, and Americana.
The jug displays a pleasing cream-colored salt-glazed surface with attractive age-related crazing and firing characteristics throughout.
