This Vintage Waechtersbach German Windmill with Sailboat Spice Set is a rare find. I did not find another on the internet. It contains 6 spice jars with lids none of which are cracked or broken. One does have a grease spot on the top of the lid. The German names are:
Pfeffer - pepper
Kummel - caraway seed
Gewurznelke (-n) clove(s)
Muskatnuss nutmeg
Nelkenpfeffer allspice (berries of the pimento tree)
Bimmt I could not find
This is an old set with old German lettering. It measures 14" x 12 1/2" x 2 1/2". They have the windmill on one side and sail boats on two other sides just like the canister set. Each jar is 2 3/4" without lid and almost 4" with lid on. Design needed improvement the lid is hard to pick up with the finial I recommend picking it up from the side of the lid. Also comes with an oil and vinegar jar as well as the original spice rack.
