This Rare Mrs. Tucker's Shortening 1930's Advertising Tin is not one you will see in every antique shop. Very popular graphic produced by Canco, the design was copyrighted in 1936 for the Interstate Cotton Oil Refining Co. of Sherman Texas. Mrs. Tucker's shortening contained no Animal Fat unlike lard. It came with a money back guarantee. According to the can during the middle to late 1930's Mrs. Tucker had a Program on radio call Mrs. Tucker's Smile. It measures 8 3/4" x 6 3/4". The can has good graphics and no dents, it is missing the top, but has the original bail handle.
