Beautiful engraving of "Pluto, seen from behind, entering the Underwold on his chariot, Cereberus and three Furies to right, from "Giove che fulmina li giganti", after the frescoes on the ceiling of the Sala dei Giganti designed by Giulio Romano for the Palazzo del Te, Mantua", attributed to Pietro Santi Bartoli (1615-1700). Printed at Rome circa 1680. Image 10 x 7.5" with large margins on heavier laid paper. Fine with some mild creasing. Held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art .
