Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso, to name a few. This piece is oil on Masonite and framed. It is a unique piece as it was done in a Miróvian manner (who he apprenticed under). There is a Picasso signature in unknown hand as well as a Certificate of Authenticity from the artist adhered to the verso. It is signed in the right corner and dated Palma 1975. This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in excellent condition, there is damage to the bottom right of the frame as shown in the photos.
