Depicted in radiant gilt ceremonial armour a powdered wig, and wearing the cross of the Order of Malta , he embodies noble lineage, military honour, and refined dignity.
Executed in oil on canvas in 1985 by an anonymous 20th-century British School artist after the original by Jean-François de Troy.
Reverse inscription: "H.S. Chevalier d'Orleans after de Troyer."
