Title: Vintage Sterling Southwestern Turquoise Ring, Needlepoint, Sz. 5.5, Signed L.G., 1960's-1970'sDescription: Vintage Sterling Southwestern Turquoise Ring, Needlepoint, Sz. 5.5, Signed L.G. Estimate ages is 1960's-1970's. L.G. is believed to be Leonard Largo who was the lesser known silversmith in his family but did make jewelry. The other possibility is Lorencita Garcia. It is unknown as to whether it is either of these silversmith native american artists but it is signed L.G. Lorencita Garcia did a lot of work with mother-of-pear but also did work with turquoise. This ring has a needlepoint design which is most often affiliated with Zuni which neither of these artists are so the maker is uncertain. The ring has 12 saw-tooth bezel-set long thin turquoises tones on the outer portion of the ring with a center single piece. The ring is appx. 25mm down the finger and 20mm across the finger. It tests as sterling with an appx. weight of appx. 3.49 grams. Very good condition. Typical light oxidation on the sterling but fantastic to wear as is. (W9.13.1X1 SS16327 J LD 7/25/25).
