Title: Vintage Silver Egyptian Beduoin Zar Pendant Necklace, 24"

Description: Vintage Silver Egyptian Beduoin Zar Pendant Necklace, 2. The pendant has marks on the back - possibly Egyptian, than a cat and letter D. It is believed to be from appx. 1920's-1930's and from what I read a "protective" amulet for women. It has a chain that attaches to each side of the pendant that goies to a point and attaches to the 24" chain. It has bell-like dangles that come off the bottom of the pendant. It is appx. 2.5" from the tip fo the chain where it attaches to the necklace to the bottom of the drops. It has cut-out what look like leters, numbers and circles. The bar pendant and the chain that comes to the point test as silver - exact content is unknown as I did not find the match for the silver but it is likely .600 to .900 based on others found. The necklace itself is made with flatish double bar pieces that connect with a round ring to the next link and has a hook clasp. That chain does not test as silver. It is appx. 24" and 3.4mm wide. It is all in good condition . (W37.14.15 1X1 SS14571 J LD 3/12/25).
