  • Description: Vintage Sterling Southwestern Turquoise Ring, Sz. 4.25, 1970's-1980's. This has a turquoise stone that does have inclusions across the ring - the stone is stable and not broken. It has some brown veining. It does have something that makes this stone not look like true turquoise - possible it is glass or some other simulated stone. The stone is bezel-set and appx 16mm by 18mm with a rope accent around the bezel. The top of the ring is appx. 19mm by 10mm down and across the finger with a split V band on top that is appx. 4.5mm and as it moves around the sides of the finger it fuses into a single band that is rounded and appx. 1.8mm at the back of the finger. The band and metal around the stone do test as sterling with a weight of appx. 2.67 grams. It does have a magnetic reaction which seems to be coming from under the stone an likely a lining used between the sterling and the stone. It is not signed or makred. Good condition with typical oxidation that can be cleaned away. (W515.61516.1X1 SS J LD 1.22.25).
