Willhelm Kage (1889-1960) was one of Gustavsberg's most influential designers and creator of the Argenta series, introduced in the 1930s. The series mixes saturated glazes with decorative silver inlays and remains one of the most recognisable signatures of Swedish ceramic design. Kage's pieces continue to be highly sought after by collectors.
