Elegant hand-thrown stoneware bowl with a fluid form and glossy, multicoloured glaze in shades of deep wine red, blue, black and copper tones, characteristic of Stalhane's experimental glaze work during his post-Rorstrand period.

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stalhane (1920-1990) was one of Sweden's most influential ceramic artists and sculptors. He worked for Rorstrand from 1939 to 1973, where he developed some of the company's most iconic series, including Chamotte and Rubus. After leaving Rorstrand, he founded Designhuset in Lidkoping, continuing his artistic exploration of form and glaze in smaller, exclusive studio series.
