Bio:
Ingrid Atterberg (1920-2008) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer who worked for Upsala Ekeby from the late 1940s onwards. She is known for elegant forms and graphic decoration, often executed in restrained colour palettes with strong rhythm and repetition. Her work represents a refined strand of Swedish modernism, where form and surface are brought together in a balanced whole. Upsala Ekeby was one of Sweden's most important ceramic producers during this period and remains highly regarded by collectors today.
