Bio:
Nils Kahler (1920-2009) was a key figure in the later generation of the Kahler family, working both as a ceramicist and artistic director. In the mid-20th century, the Kahler workshop became known for its modernist approach to stoneware, emphasising clean forms and refined glazes. Works from the 1960s reflect the functional aesthetic of the period combined with high standards of craftsmanship.
