After the Second World War she settled in Sweden and became a leading designer at Upsala Ekeby, creating a wide range of decorative ceramic works characterised by figurative motifs, stylised faces, and richly ornamented surfaces. Her visual language combines narrative elements with modernist simplification and is today regarded as one of the most distinctive expressions of mid-20th-century Swedish art ceramics.
