Bio:
Kahler Keramik in Naestved was one of Denmark's most innovative ceramic workshops in the first half of the 20th century. During the 1930s, the workshop explored experimental glaze methods, including the so-called cow horn technique, where liquid glazes were applied and shaped using horn or similar tools. This process created dynamic, highly individual surfaces with strong visual depth and variation. Such pieces reflect the era's emphasis on artistic craftsmanship and are today regarded as some of the most sought-after examples of Kahler's ceramic production.
