Bio:
Sven Wejsfelt (1930-2009) was one of Sweden's leading ceramic artists of the 20th century, celebrated for his commitment to the Nordic stoneware tradition and masterful craftsmanship. After training and early work at Rorstrand, he spent over five decades at the Gustavsberg factory where he perfected throwing and glaze techniques. Wejsfelt's works cover a wide range of shapes, sizes, and colours, and his ceramics are part of the collection at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
