Helmut Friedrich Schaffenacker (1921-2010) was a German ceramic artist and sculptor educated in Ulm. His works from the 1950s to 1970s are internationally recognised for their modernist forms and experimental glaze work. Schaffenacker established his own studio in Ulm, producing a wide range of ceramic reliefs, wall plaques, and sculptural objects that are today considered iconic examples of German studio ceramics.
