Bio:
Grethe Meyer (1918-2008) was a Danish architect and designer educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. She worked extensively with industrial design and domestic interiors and is recognised for her consistent functionalist approach. Her Blue Line service for Royal Copenhagen, introduced in 1965, became a landmark of Danish modernism, appreciated for its clarity, proportion and everyday usability.
