Jacques Pouchain (1927-2015) was a French ceramicist and artist active in Dieulefit in the Drome region. He founded L'Atelier Dieulefit in the 1950s and became known for his strong sculptural forms and experimental glazes. Working at the intersection of art and functional ceramics, Pouchain exhibited internationally. His works are represented in several French collections and he is regarded as an important figure in 20th-century French studio ceramics.
