Large Meissen porcelain figure made after Jean-Étienne Liotard's celebrated subject “La Belle Chocolatière” (1744). The figure depicts a woman in 18th-century dress holding a serving tray and cup, richly decorated with polychrome floral painting, finely rendered facial features, and carefully applied details. Executed after model no. 1471 and bearing the Marcolini mark, dated to approximately the 1790s.
Origin: Germany, Meissen.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 43 cm, W. 18 cm.
Period: Approx. 1790s.
Condition: small, discreet crack to the lower part of the skirt, from the production, along with light age- and handling-related wear.
