This set is done in the Royal Doulton pattern RA2600 with a white background. The rims are of each plate are decorated with beautiful gilded floral designs around feathered flourishes connected with cross hatching. Much of the gilding is raised. The center has an intricate rosette pattern. All the decoration is done in very nice gilding. Each piece is marked with the Royal Doulton hallmark, the pattern number RA2600 and the retailer, Higgins & Seiter. This set is in overall excellent condition, every plate has a nice ring. Some of the plates have wear to the interior circle of gilding. We have shown the three worst examples of this in the last photos. The other 9 plates have little to no wear. Some of the gilding is tarnished. We have shown an example of this in the very last photo. Any tarnish cleans off very easily. There are no chips, no cracks, no crackling, no breaks, and no repairs. Each plate measures 10 inches in diameter. The full set of 12 plates weighs about 15 1/2 pounds.
