Bio:
Evald Nielsen (1879–1958) was a Danish silversmith and a central figure in Danish silver design during the first half of the twentieth century. He established his workshop in Copenhagen in 1905 and became particularly known for elegant cutlery patterns and silver hollowware. His designs evolved from Art Nouveau influences toward a more restrained classical style during the interwar period.
