Two Hard Stone Snuff Bottles.
20th Century.
First is a moss agate snuff bottle, of flattened rounded form with oval food, the stone a translucent moss green with natural inclusions resembling clouds and water plants. Height: 2 1/2 in (7 cm). Condition: excellent. Natural fissures to stone.
Second is a "Snowflake Stone" snuff bottle, of compressed globular form, the black stone naturally marked with radiating white crystal inclusions resembling snowflakes or chrysanthemums, fitted with a purple red hardstone stopper. Height: 2 1/8 in (5.4 cm). Condition: overall good, minor wear to surface.
