About the artist: Born July 5, 1923 at the station. Volochisk (now Khmelnytsky region). Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1951). Teachers by profession - V. Kostetsky, S. Grigoriev. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "In the locker room" (1957); Gornovoy (1958); Milkmaids (1961); M. Kibalchich in a prison cell draws a project for a jet engine "(1963); T. G. Shevchenko in the Ural Expedition "(1964); "Agitation train, 1919" (1964 - 1965) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1957. He died in 2008.
