Vintage Sterling Amber Mouse Brooch, Post Mid-Century, appx. 1970's. The mouse has a body that is made with an oval amber cabochon. The amber does test positive with the static test. The amber has the includsions seen in the amber. The origin of the amber is unknown for certain but is believed to be Baltic. The cabochon is bezel-set and is appx. 15mm by 11mm. The rest of the brooch, is sterling. Cute mouse face with raised ears, curled tail, a raised eye and curved up nose. It is appx. 1.25" long and 3/4" tall. Weight of the brooch is appx. 4.43 grams. It has markings on the pin of the pinback which one is believed to be .925 and the other cannot be read. Very good condition. (W71825.1X1 SS16895 J LD 11/2/25)
