Vintage Sterling Thimble, SZ 12. Signed. Etched trim with a plain band above that with the size 12 marked on the plain band above the decorative edge band - inside there is a face or sun like marking on the top of the thimble and sterling is stamped around that. It tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 3.86 grams. This is appx. 1930's to mid-century or earlier. This came from a large thimble collecton estate sale. Very good condition.
