Vintage Sterling Mexican Floral Brooch, Green Stones, C-Clasp, 1930's-1940's. This is the estimated age, could be older, do not believe it is newer. This is appx. 2" with open work with leaves wrapping on the inside, coiled stems and two blossomw ith a round green 4mm stone in each. The stone is unknown - culd be glass - there are shinny specks inside it - it is not believed to be turquoise. there is also a sterling blossom in the center with no stone. It is marked sterling and tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 18.23 grams. It is also signed Mexico. Light oxidation that can be polished but looks great in its vintage state. Very good condition. It is not signed by the maker. This is believed to be prior to Mexico's requirements on marking jewelry in 1948. Prior to that just marking Mexico and silver or sterling was most often used. (W71825.1X7 SS16916 J LD 11/2/25).
