A detailed account of the Captain Wilson's voyage in the 'Ship Duff' including a chart of its progress in the Pacific Ocean in 1797 from the 'Roaring Forties' up to 'Tahiti'. The 'Duff' then sailed on to the 'Marquesas Islands' before crossing to 'Tonga' and passing through the 'Solomon Islands' before finishing up in 'China'. There are also new maps of 'Tongataboo' (Tonga), 'Gambier Islands' (French Polynesia), the 'Marquesas', 'Feejee (Fiji) Islands' and the 'Duff Group' (Solomon Islands) as well as six quality engravings including the harbour at Rio de Janeiro.
