About the artists: Ukrainian painter.
Matyushenko Victor Ivanovich was born on June 5, 1925 in Dnepropetrovsk.
In 1951 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk State Art School, his teachers were M. Panin, M. Pogrebnyak.
Since 1951 he took part in art exhibitions.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1969.
Veteran of the Great Patriotic War, has awards.
Awarded with a Diploma of the Secretariat of the Board of the Union of Artists of Ukraine for excellent work, a medal of the memorial to them. A. Kuindzhi in 1964.
The works are presented in the Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum.
