Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This is a gorgeous piece executed with acrylic on board painted in Berlin in 1974. It is titled "Marilyn Monroe" and is signed and dated "Peter Keil "˜74" in the lower right corner.

A Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso.

This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.

The art is in excellent condition with the exception of a minor flaw in the lower right, as pictured, with typical signs of age and wear. The frame is in excellent condition with no flaws.
