About the artist: Born on October 5, 1956, in the city of Chernivtsi. He graduated from the Vyzhnytsky College of Applied Arts (1975). Teachers in the specialty: A. Shishkin, P. Lemsky. He worked in the field of painting, monumental art. The main industries are easel painting, monumental art. The author of thematic compositions, still lifes, landscapes. In non-figurative compositions, he used the means of postmodernism, creating a complex associative series, emphasizing the expressiveness of color messages with an unexpected combination of various textures. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1992). He was engaged in creative work. Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican, international (since 1990). Personal exhibitions - in the city of Spoltor (Italy, 1994), Chernivtsi (1995, 2001), Kiev (2006). Major works: “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” (1993), “Hutsul Madonna” (1997), series - “The Twelve Apostles” (2000), “Eden” (2005); “Icarus”, triptych - “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” (1993), “Dogswin”, “Modern Talk” (1996), “Hutsul Madonna”, “Between Heaven and Water” (1997), “Eden”, “Danae”, Noah's Ark, Two Views on Treason, Joy and Pain of the Mother of God (1999), Polytype Twelve Apostles, Thirteenth (2000), Forest Lake (2005), Summer (2010) .
