Excessively rare and most desirable war-date S.P., 2.5 x 4 in. sepia, a chest-up view of Mosby in uniform, boldly signed ‘Jno. S. Mosby’ in black ink across the bottom of the print. The verso bears the backstamp of E. J. Rees & Co. of Richmond, and shows two pencil identifying inscriptions. The contrast of the image is slightly light otherwise in fine condition overall.
