(1805-1879) Prominent American abolitionist during the years before the Civil War, founder and publisher of the famous Boston anti-slavery newspaper 'The Liberator'. Signature ‘Wm. Lloyd Garrison.’ in black ink on a 3.5 x 2 in. card, adding the date ‘1877.’ Mildly toned, shows mounting remnants on the verso, otherwise in very good overall condition.
