Manuscript D.S. with his ‘mad’ signature ‘George’ 1p. sm. oblong folio, St. James’s, March 9, 1807, a promotion of John Spinks from captain in the Twelfth Regiment to lieutenant. Boldly signed at top left. Heavily foxed throughout, blind-embossed paper seal intact, just good condition.
