MEDIUM: oil on canvas YEAR OF CREATION: 1987 CONDITION: The painting is in good vintage condition, as shown in the photographs. It is currently unframed. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Gorbenko Olexiy Arkhipovych - was born on 11th April, 1919 in Rzhyschiv, Rzhyschevsky district, Kyiv region. He studied at Kyiv Art Institute at the Faculty of Painting. He worked in the portrait genre. Honored Artist of Ukraine and Member of the USSR Artists Union. He was a professor at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Participated in the republican exhibitions. The artist died on 17th January 2010.
