ABOUT THE ARTIST: Navrotsky Vasil Mykolaevich - was born on August 25, 1929 in the Branitsa village, Chernigiv region. He graduated from the Kyiv Art and Crafts School in 1949. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1999. People's Artist of Ukraine since 1994. Famous works: "Morning in the Branitsa village" (1968), "Portrait of a wife" (1974), "My Ukraine" (1978), "Path to my native village" (1980), "Moonlit Night" (1983), "And there will be no enemy on the renewed land" (1987), "Portrait of the actress Ada Rogovtseva" (1988), "On the slope" (1988), "Portrait of Sasha's grandson" (1994). The artist died in 2002.
