19th Century Boston, Massachusetts financial archive consisting of eight original manuscript and printed financial documents dating primarily from the early to mid 1800s. The group includes merchant accounts, receipts, invoices, church-related financial records, and handwritten statements documenting commercial transactions and daily business activity in Boston during the mid-nineteenth century.

Among the documents are handwritten accounts for lumber, nails, labor, and building materials; merchant invoices detailing purchases of household and dry goods; financial statements involving prominent Boston-area residents and tradesmen; and an 1861 receipt issued by the Eliot Congregational Society of Roxbury. Several documents retain attractive period business headings and manuscript endorsements, providing insight into the commercial, religious, and domestic economy of antebellum Boston and its surrounding communities.
