A set of four vintage Pyrex refrigerator storage dishes, frequently referred to as Fridge Dishes, in the classic Primary Colors palette. The collection consists of opaque white glass (opal ware) containers with fired-on solid color finishes and matching clear glass lids. Included are two small square dishes in red, identified as model number 501; one medium rectangular dish in a teal blue finish, identified as model number 502; and one large rectangular dish in yellow with integrated handles, identified as model number 503. The clear glass lids feature a transverse ribbed pattern. Embossed markings on the lids include the brand name PYREX and model codes such as 502-C. These pieces were manufactured by Corning Glass Works in the United States during the mid-20th century.
